One Way Spanning Area Loads For Non-Rectangular loads

It is very common to find non-rectangular floor frames which are loaded in one-way (non-rectangular deck loaded by deck joists for example). In addition it is common to have intermediate nodes in the perimeter of this non-rectangular frame (to represent columns above etc). Can you please enhance the area loading ability such that all we would have to do is select the perimeter of the deck, add the area load & specify the direction that the joists are spanning (rather than the direction of the beams supporting as not all beams are parallel) and then the program will be able to work out the equivalent area load not only on the internal beams but the trimming perimeter beams? It might also be worth being able to have some ability to specify which members are subject to the load (incase you wish to omit one or more of the beams from the loading).
