Just thinking about how the taper should be specified.
The original approach was to choose which side of the wall was "flat" then set the top and bottom width of each layer (course - only supporting a single layer at the moment).
This won't allow for an incline on both sides of the wall though so, I see two options.
Option 1: Specify the top and bottom width of the stem layer. Then specify the horizontal distance from some origin (maybe the bottom left of the stem) to the furthest left point of the top width of the layer (see image).
Option 2: Specify the top and bottom width of the stem layer. Then specify the incline angle on the front face. The back incline can then be automatically calculated.
I would probably lean toward option 2. Would the architectural drawings generally specify the angle? I would favor the option that has fewer steps that the user has to calculate to determine what the input is. Alternatively, we could have both and when you fill out one, it will update the other field.
